Free Spirit- Your secret Breakout Den!

A friend once said, “Bushra, I am desperately looking for a quite place to read a book over some great food, please suggest one in Lucknow.” and I was like, “Damn! there is no “quite” place in Lucknow”. Although, the city is buzzing with amazing hangout places with rocking food but there is nothing like quite and peaceful.

And then I got to know about “Cafe Free Spirit”. So all those looking for a peaceful place, a secret breakout den or a hangout cafe then undoubtedly Cafe Free Spirit is the place to head!

Located close to an IT major firm; this place has some amazing comfortable cafe food to offer.

Right from mocktails to shakes; burgers to pastas; Free Spirit serves good food with a very creative ambiance.

The owner of the cafe, Mr. Mohit, being a food enthusiast himself has laid alot of emphasis on the creative ambiance and scrumptious food. Hence, you cannot go wrong here.

Coming to the food, I first tried their Cold Coffee which I would say was exactly how I like it, strong coffee with a slight bitter after taste and vanilla ice cream to balance out the bitterness. Loved it!

Then the Double Chicken Burger served with chips; which was chicken patty and chicken ham slices in between super soft buns. My kind of comfort food. The mayo they used was very flavorful; giving a slight tangy taste at the first bite.

Another favorite was the Cheese Fries; full of calories though but no one complained 😛

French fries with a generous drizzle of molten cheese, a lil mayo and served with coleslaw is a must have if you are French fries addict like me!

Then came the veg white sauce pasta which was again very creamy and cheesy. I could have it twice 😀

The best however was served at the last; The Bournville Chocolate Shake and The Veg Pizza

The shake was an ultimate chocolate delight! Chocolaty, creamy and slightly bitter.

Pizza however had the most softest base I have ever had! It was literally melt in your mouth base loaded with cheese and toppings. It could give any pizza joint a run for their money!
